Cheer for Team Commonpoint at the NYC Marathon
Will you be watching the NYC marathon this year from the sidelines and cheer stations as runners weave their way through our neighborhood? If yes, then this is the volunteer event for you!
On Sunday, November 2nd runners will be representing Team Commonpoint and they need your help to cheer them on to the finish line.
Sign up and participate on your own time on marathon day by making #TeamCommonpoint signs, taking them to the race and sharing selfies and photos of the crowd on social media. We have unique marathon volunteer shirts for the first 10 volunteers who commit!
When posting on social media, please include #communityhappenshere to ensure that the Commonpoint social media team can find your posts!

The race will take runners through all five boroughs of New York City, starting 8am on the Verrazano–Narrows Bridge on Staten Island and passing through Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, and the Bronx, before finishing in Central Park.

Date and Time: Sunday, November 2nd 10am-2pm. NOTE: these hours are guidelines. You can volunteer for some or all of this time. The race begins at 8am and it can take runners several hours to complete the race course.
